Γη, Μάνη, αχλάδι κι άγριο ραδίκι. Δεν είναι περιγραφή εκδρομής. Είναι τα χρώματα που θα έχει το μαγαζί μου! Ήταν λίγο δύσκολο να βρούμε κάτι να ταιριάζει με το μωσαϊκό (που δεν μου πήγαινε η καρδιά να το βγάλω) αλλά μετά απο 5 ώρες κουβέντας και δημιουργικής βόλτας (με καπουτσίνο) με τον διακοσμητικό μου σύμβουλο (δηλ. μαμά) τα καταφέραμε. Ήρθαν και δύο ηλεκτρολόγοι να κάνουν προσφορά για τα ηλεκτρικά. Θα μπούν καμιά εικοσαριά μπρίζες! Μία για κάθε τετραγωνικό. Χι χι!! Στον πάγκο μου τώρα με περιμένουν 40 ψάρια να τους βάλω σμάλτο και αν τα κάνω σκουλαρίκια: Άρχισα τις παραγγελίες απ’το Μόναχο. Με βλέπω να ξαναγράφω εδώ το καλοκαίρι! Έχω να κόψω (ανάμεσα σε άλλα) 51 κάλτσες και 15 βρακιά! Μέσα σ’όλα βλέπω και συνταγές στο ίντερνετ που μου κλείνουν το μάτι, όπως αυτό το κέικ σοκολάτας με earl grey και τις δοκιμάζω. (απέτυχα την πρώτη φορά αλλά δε θα μου ξεφύγει!)

Earth, stone bridge, pear and dandelion. I’m not describing a trip at the country-side. These are going to be the colors of my shop! It was a bit tough to find something to match the old marble mosaic floor (which I didn’t have the heart to tear off) but after a 5 hour session (including coffee and a walk) with my interior design consultant (i.e. my mom) we did it. Two electricians came also to make offers for the work it needs to be done there. We are going to put around 20 sockets. One for each square meter! Ha! On my bench now there are 40 copper fish waiting to be enameled: I’ve started making my orders from Munich. I’ll also have to cut (among other things) 51 socks and 15 knickers.  As if all these weren’t enough I find recipes on the internet that won’t let me go until I make them. Like this Earl gray chocolate cake.. (I tried and failed once but I won’t give up!) With all this going on I think the next post here will be in the summer!
